Description:

Highfield Hall was one of two elegant summer homes built in the late 1800s by the wealthy Beebe family. Over the decades the house fell into disrepair, but a recent volunteer movement has fostered its restoration and it now serves as a lovely, historic site for cultural programs, weddings, corporate functions and other events. A museum room inside the house tells the history of the house and family while a gallery area displays a constantly changing regional art display. It lies on the northwest edge of town and abuts the scenic 383-acre Beebe Woods.
